Diamidex offers tailored solutions for a wide range of industries and markets. Whatever your needs are, there is always a MICA solution for you.
Diamidex has developed a patented technology based on fluorescent marking allowing to target many specific microorganisms
The Diamidex technology: a combination of culture, fluorescent marking and revolutionary optical equipment Diamidex has designed patented solutions for targeting only certain specific microoganisms. Thanks to a cutting edge technology combining the use of culture and fluorescent marking with a revolutionary optical equipment, it is now possible to make microorganism visible sooner than with the traditional method, at their very early stage of microcolony.
Culture: the only reliable method to detect and count microorganisms Culture on a Petri dish, the Louis Pasteur’s method, has been the most effective way of identifying and counting microorganisms since the 19th century. To date, this technique still remains the reference method in many industries to detect and count mircoorganisms. Its principle : extracting the microorganisms from a sample, putting them on a dedicated Petri dish, containing the “food” they need to grow, then wait. Once they have multiplied enough, they get visible to the eye, and can be counted. Though reliable, this method is long (up to several days according to the target microorganism).
